International Pizza Expo had an after party and I wanted to nod to the 75 year old Italian brand Performance owns but also mix it with a more modern animation style.

I love a good pun. So I immediately created a “Please Stand By” opening screen but “Pizza” instead. It’s a unique design that isn’t seen out in life normally. The rest I knew I wanted to feel jazzy, slick and more modern.

This after-party animation won a GDUSA award as well! I was so pleased to create something that had a lot of nostalgia but also nodding to the future. This design also was carried through in other branded areas through out International Pizza Expo. (See below.)
