100 years old and she’s in great shape. I didn’t learn a lot of hand setting type in school, so I decided to immerse myself in it all the way. I love this little hobby.

I am a visual learner. By taking a type-setting class I appreciated the typography I do digitally way more. Remembering what graphic design was and how it has evolved into today gives me a better appreciation for our craft.

I have to remove myself from the screen and get back to making with my hands. It keeps me sane, keeps my creativity sharp and my curiousity strong.
